Management Policy

Basic Strategies

1. Basic policy of the corporate management

To solve the business problem of the customer, to realize "The fusion of a tool and the service" "The challenge to the volume zone" "Practice of speedup and the efficiency“, our group does thatwe raise a customer company and social future value with a mission through providing the most suitable structure to contribute it while adopting a concept of the process management and the latest IT positively.

2. Regarding the direction of our company and corporate group’s management strategy and business strategy

With this company at its core, our corporate group is comprised of multiple subsidiaries, such as SOFTBRAIN FIELD Co., Ltd., which does business centered on field marketing support; SOFTBRAIN SERVICE Co., Ltd., which does sales training and consulting on sales talent cultivation; and SOFTBRAIN INTEGRATION Co., Ltd., which supports the enabling of work that utilizes tablets and smartphones. We see our corporate group’s mission as taking on customers’ sales and marketing issues with comprehensive support from a sales strengthening, marketing strengthening, and IT strengthening perspective—leading to one-stop solutions.

3. Management strategy of each business

(1) Sales Innovation business We are developing this business to spread “sales process management” throughout the world via this company as well as two subsidiaries: SOFTBRAIN SERVICE Co., Ltd. and SOFTBRAIN INTEGRATION Co., Ltd.
“e-Sales Manager”, created in August 1999, has managed to develop to match customer needs, and we plan to make further improvements to it such as further expansion of product scopes, strengthened IoT capability, and technology links with partners inside and outside of Japan. We are also actively investing in AI technology, and are considering enabling the development of applications in this “new dimension”. At SOFTBRAIN SERVICE Co., Ltd., we are doing collaborative research with Tokyo University to scientifically reveal the “characteristics of winning sales organizations”. Through these initiatives, we aim to evolve in both the software and service sides.
(2) Field Marketing business The Field Marketing business developed by SOFTBRAIN FIELD Co., Ltd.—a subsidiary of this company—conducts support for sales activities and sales promotion activities utilizing roughly 74,000 registered members from all over Japan. Although it has the advantage of being able to develop total solutions—including surveys of purchase motivations, creation of sales environments that match these motivations, and formulation of new marketing strategies based on surveys of purchase reasons—we have seen decreasing profit margins due to changes in business structures, and we believe we must enact active and forward-thinking reforms. SOFTBRAIN FIELD Co., Ltd. has made preparations toward getting listed since two years ago; as we continue to aim for this independent listing, we also plan to continue searching for optimal methods—including capital and business alliances with other companies etc.—from the perspective of increasing corporate value for both this company and SOFTBRAIN FIELD Co., Ltd.
(3) System Development business The System Development business operated by SOFTBRAIN OFFSHORE Co., Ltd.—a subsidiary of this company—supports customers’ systems development through offshore development the SOFTBRAIN group has done since 1997. To provide more of the merits of offshore development to customers, we aim to expand our development system beyond the current countries of China and Vietnam.
(4) Publication business The Publication business operated by Diamond Business Planning Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of this company maximally utilizes the advantages of its union with DIAMOND Inc. to publish literature that contributes to increasing companies’ knowledge. In keeping with Japan’s characteristic of having many old companies, we plan to bring even more publications in the world through strategies such as the “production of marketable company histories”.
